What we collect
Each name you check is stored in our database alongside a counter and the latest result. No IP address, no user agent, no account. Only the slug and what we found. We use this to surface popular and trending names back to users.
Your browser also stores your recently-checked names and view preferences in localStorage. That data never leaves your device.
What we don't collect
No analytics, no tracking cookies, no email signups, no third-party trackers loaded on our pages.
Where data goes
When you check a name, the slug is sent to ~24 third-party APIs (Apple, Google, GitHub, npm, PyPI, USPTO, Reddit, etc.) to ask whether it's taken. Their privacy policies cover what they do with that query.
Clicking a Register button redirects you to Dynadot through an affiliate URL. Dynadot's cookies and policy then apply.
